HISTORY
PHYSIASIS PHYSIOTHERAPY CENTRE plays a prominent role in the effort to address scientific needs for a more effective implementation of physiotherapy treatment, as well as customer needs for faster and better recovery.
It was founded by Athanasios Ampatzoglou in 1990 and it is located in close proximity to the historical center of Thessaloniki, at the junction of Kassandrou & Agias Sofias streets.
It emerged as a business development following the wellness and rehabilitation departments that he had founded and managed with great success since 1988, at the hotels ATHOS PALACE and PALLINI BEACH in Kallithea, Chalkidiki.
PHYSIASIS Physiotherapy Centre, with its state-of-the-art equipment and the standards of leading physiotherapy centers abroad applied, from the very first years of its operation, was quickly established and evolved into one of the top rehabilitation centers in our city.
PHYSIASIS Physiotherapy Centre has been affiliated with and has cooperated with the majority of the Insurance Funds of the Public and Private sector from the very beginning, as well as with leading Healthcare Groups, having been recognized and called upon to collaborate with some on an exclusive basis (BIOIATRIKI, FONEMED).
It has cooperated with numerous athletes and sports teams across different sports, professionals and amateurs, active and veteran athletes.
It has helped top athletes in national teams (not exclusively Greeks), athletes who have honored our country with the national emblem, such as medal winners at the Olympics, winners of World and Pan-European competitions, medalists at Mediterranean and Balkan athletic competitions, as well as champions.
It has been certified and has successfully cooperated with Embassies and Consular Posts, either by taking on accredited persons in need of a treatment program or seriously war wounded people in need of special equipment and expertise.
