Athanasios Ampatzoglou was born in Thessaloniki in 1966 and is a graduate of the TEI of Thessaloniki since 1986.
Throughout the years of his professional experience, he has collaborated with hospital and clinical centers, intensive care units, nursing homes, spas, sports clubs.
Since 1987 and for 8 years, he has been successfully managing Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Relaxation, Fitness, Sport Beauty and Hairdressing departments in large hotels in Halkidiki (mainly Athos Palace, Pallini Beach), with a customer base of over 5000 people. Since then, he has been called from other large hotels in Greece and abroad, as a consultant for the development and operation of similar units.
In 1990 and for two years he has been delivering physiotherapy courses in private schools (Rockmans USA College) in the department of Health (Physiotherapy, Nursing, Aesthetics).
Meanwhile, in 1990 he founded the Laboratory of Physical Therapy near the historical center of Thessaloniki. It boasts a clientele of more than 6000 people with a plethora of cases and conditions. It employs trained and experienced personnel, ready to deal with any incident. It has been subsidized by the European Union, with the Competitiveness, Urban Development and Commercial Services programs. The equipment is renewed and constantly updated, thus providing a powerful therapeutic weapon.
From 1997 to 2010 he was an active member of the ROTARY Club in the category of Health professions. In 2000-2001 he was the President of the Commission. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Committee of Health Affairs and Blood Donation. From 2001 to 2003 he was assistant Treasurer and a member of the Administrative Board. From 2004 to 2009 he served as Treasurer and a member of the Administrative Board. In 2010 he was assistant Treasurer and consultant.
